COVID 19 IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO QUIT!

Written by Isioma Okolie Angel

COVID 19 has changed the course of the earth, and every nation is taking all measures to eradicate this disease, however the effects it will leave behind are what we students have to fight collectively to stop from happening.

THE EFFECTS OF COVID 19 ON THE STUDENTS.

As a result of the lock down, schools have been shut down, little or no access to income, increase in sexual violence and transactional sex which may lead to increase in sexually transmitted diseases and Unwanted pregnancy.

As soon as schools resume there will be a high rate of girls dropping out from schools as a result of teens pregnancy.

One would ask, why is she focusing only on girls? It is because girls are at the receiving end.

STAY SAFE.

Remember they say, "a problem shared is a problem solved." Nigeria isn't that bad, a lot of people are ready to help you out from whatever problem you are facing, if only you don't want to fall to circumstances.

Every problem has a solution, don't keep your problem to yourself.

Please share to save life.

THESE ARE PART OF THE CONVERSATION I AM HAVING WITH THE STUDENTS OF SOME SCHOOLS IN LAGOS AND OGUN STATE PRECISELY AND I WANT TO SHARE IT WITH EVERY STUDENT IN NIGERIA AND ALL OVER THE WORLD.
