I AM A LEADER
written by Oladoyin Aliyah
it started in December when I was trained on how to be a girl leader, the qualities, attributes of being a girl leader.
The Girls Voices Initiative program has really impacted my life, it has given me the opportunity to always be confident in myself, to always learn to respect and tolerate others, to always be alert, and to set my boundaries.
Meeting and working with the key Stakeholders in Bolade Community to talk about Adolescent girls dropping out of school and engaging in economic activities was also a great opportunity for me cause it made me closer to the community, the key stakeholders (the chairman, the Councilor, parents, and girls) and a made me serve as a role model to other girls
I would make a move by moving my advocacy forward to educate and enlighten girls in my community, school, and place of worship.
A very big thank you to Action Health Incorporated, CUMMINS, and Rise Up for the great opportunity they've provided for me and other girls in different places across the world
