Physical violence is the most common type of Gender-based violence. It is any act where an individual attempts to harm another through physical means. Thus, physical violence is a more severe form of aggression.
It can be caused by many things; parents who had such experiences as children, and therefore do the same with theirs, while some people are just naturally abusive, they believe violence to be the best response to anything.
Physical violence effects are physical, they can be seen, they can be touched, they can also be treated, they include; bruise, cuts, fractures, internal injuries, or in the most extreme cases death. In some cases, the effects may not be physical but might have emotional effects even though they weren't abused physically.
Seeking treatment is one of the ways to help people with the problem of physical violence as well as therapy for people who tend to use violence as a default response to situations. If they seek treatment and therapy the world would become a better place to live in.
